Het duurt wat langer dan gepland om de oplossing met de tracks waarbij je per track de artiesten aan kunt geven, te implementeren.
Daarom heb ik het nu alvast ingesteld dat je bij artiesten wel meerdere artiesten op kunt nemen.
Overigens willen we nog een oplossing bedenken waarbij je eenmalig de samenstelling van een groep in kunt voeren en daarna automatisch als The Beatles is ingegeven bij een plaat, je deze ook op McCartney, Lennon etc terug kunt vinden.

Het is de bedoeling om de tracks afzonderlijk invoerbaar te maken en daaraan de artiest te koppelen. Zo zijn er dan meerdere artiesten mogelijk.
Op zich is het belangrijkste wat we hier voor moeten doen het converteren van alles wat nu al in de muziek database zit. We gaan hier zsm mee aan de slag.

Yep. Dat mis ik ook. tot nu toe heb ik dat opgevangen door bij artiest op te geven: Diverse artiesten en bij bijzonderheden te specificeren welke artiesten mee doen. Maar dat is toch maar behelpen.
Ik kom nu bij een aantal platen waarbij de ene artiest de eerste plaatkant vol maakt en de andere de tweede…
Ik weet niet of dat technisch wel goed op te lossen is, omdat afzonderlijke artiesten de basis van Catawiki vormen.

Release-nummer hoeft niet persé de barcode te zijn. Ik ben uitgegaan van vinyl en niet van cd’s. Bij vinyl zit er toch behoorlijk wat info in. Als ik bv kijk naar het Beatles-album Sgt Pepper dan zie je dat de originele eerste uitgaven releasenummer PMC 7027 hadden voor de mono-versie en PCS 7027 voor de stereo. Begin jaren 70 nog een keer uitgebracht, maar dan met rood label. De versies die eind jaren 70 verschenen kan je herkennen aan het nummer 5C 062-04177 en de uitgaven uit de jaren 80 aan 1A 062-04177.
Wat cd’s betreft: Bij een groot aantal wordt dat vermeld en is het een deel van de barcode. Soms ook niet: voorbeeld is Stranger in my house van Cyril Lance. Barcode is 3448969242623 en het releasenummer DFGCD 8558
CD’s die in eigen beheer worden uitgebracht hebben vaak ook een releasenummer. Zo heb ik wat cd’s van de Belgische groep De Nieuwe Snaar. Die hebben als nummer Snaarplaat 02 of Snaarplaat 03. Die zou je ook kunnen invoeren als release-nummer.
Kortom: als er op een cd echt geen nummer staat buiten de barcode, dan zou ik voor de barcode gaan; in elke ander geval het extra nummer.
