Verder is er gesproken over een onderverdeling aan de linkerzijde op soort, dus op LP, CD, single etc. Het lijkt mij goed om hier ook de soort “verzamelalbum” aan toe te voegen. Anders komen alle verzamelalbums bij de cd’s en lp’s te staan, wat vooral bij bekendere artiesten de overzichtelijkheid niet ten goede zal komen.
Hiervoor zouden er, net zoals bij strips, meerdere soorten geselecteerd moeten kunnen worden; dus ‘CD’ en ‘verzamel’.
Dit biedt ook de mogelijkheid andere soorten toe te voegen, zoals:
- uitgave in eigen beheer
- promo
- bootleg
Van sommige artiesten zijn vele bootlegs verschenen, het lijkt me nuttig deze ook apart te sorteren…

Het is inderdaad de bedoeling om tracks apart in te kunnen voeren met de artiesten per track. Net zoals je bij strips nu al verhalen vast kunt leggen met de auteurs per verhaal.
