A few weeks before the official start of the new magazine Sprint, two announcements appear in the weekly magazine Spirou, of which
the first in number 810. In a one-page comic by Franquin, Fantasio seems very mysterious
what will happen next week. The second (text) promotion page appears in
number 811. In fact, they are introductions to the new center pages of Spirou, a direct precursor to Sprint in that form. It appears five times as a loose supplement in Spirou numbers 812 through 816 and has
at the top of the text "Our Club: The Friends of Adventure".
That is why collectors call it the Spirou club magazine, usually referred to in French reference works as the zero numbers of Sprint (Risque-Tout). It is an A2 sheet of newsprint, folded in half to A4 to fit the sheet. It still sticks out slightly, because Spirou itself is smaller in size. This A4 sheet serves entirely
to be unfolded so that a kind of newspaper is created, but printed from one sheet on both sides (WxH = 40 x 58.3 cm.). Spirou number 811 appeared on 24 pages, on the cover of issue
812 is proudly referred to as appearing on 32 pages. In the weekly magazine itself, the story of page 12 is continued on page 21. Pages 13 to 20 are the theoretical eight that form the insert. This makes it look like (if your
the page numbers in the weekly magazine does not count) or a weekly magazine number 812 to 815 is also complete if the attachment is missing! The insert of number 816 has page numbers 25-
32 (Spirou itself is now numbered again from 1-24). Mostly
this last club magazine is beautiful because of the “Sprint promotion” printed on the back. Just like in the four previous ones, the super match Make one is extensively discussed
travel around the world. This would continue into Sprint number
35. Readers are invited to use photos,
articles and drawings to make an active contribution to the magazine, with a reporter's card as a reward.

nummer 811.
