Een paar weken voor de officiële start van het nieuw te verschijnen blad Sprint verschijnen in het weekblad Robbedoes twee aankondigingen, waarvan
de eerste in nummer 810. In een één-pagina stripje van Franquin doet Kwabbernoot erg geheimzinnig over
wat er volgende week staat te gebeuren. De tweede (tekst)promotiepagina verschijnt in
nummer 811. In feite zijn het introducties voor de nieuwe middenpagina’s van Robbedoes, in die vorm een directe voorloper van Sprint. Het verschijnt vijf maal als losse bijlage in Robbedoes nummer 812 tot en met 816 en heeft
bovenaan de tekst ‘Onze club: De vrienden van het avontuur’.
Door verzamelaars wordt het daarom ook wel Robbedoesclubblad genoemd, in de Franstalige naslagwerken doorgaans als nulnummers van Sprint (Risque-Tout) aangeduid. Het gaat om een A2-vel van krantenpapier, in twee keer geplooid tot A4, zodat het in het blad past. Het steekt nog wel iets uit, omdat Robbedoes zelf kleiner van formaat is. Dit A4-blad dient geheel
uitgevouwen te worden zodat er een soort krant ontstaat, maar dan van één vel aan beide kanten bedrukt (BxH = 40 x 58,3 cm.). Verscheen Robbedoes nummer 811 nog op 24 pagina’s, op de cover van nummer

de paginanummers in het weekblad niet telt) of een weekblad nummer 812 t/m 815 ook compleet is als de bijlage mist! Het bijvoegsel van nummer 816 heeft de bladzijdennummers 25-
32 (Robbedoes zelf is nu weer genummerd van 1-24). Vooral
dit laatste clubblad is schitterend door de op de achterkant gedrukte “Sprint-promotie”. Net als in de vier voorgaande wordt er weer uitgebreid stilgestaan bij de superwedstrijd Maak een
reis om de wereld. Deze zou voortduren tot in Sprint nummer
35. De lezers worden opgeroepen om door middel van foto’s,
artikeltjes en tekeningen een actieve bijdrage aan het blad te leveren, met als beloning een reporterskaart.
