Al vrij vroeg in het begin van de platen CD rubriek hebben wij Duitsland, West Duitsland en Oost Duitsland apart proberen te houden, mits we dat konden zien. (daar heb je het label o.a. vaak voor nodig)
Zoals je weet is er een tooiltje geweest welke op jaartal Duitsland splitse in Duitsland en West Duitsland. Oost Duitsland is altijd handwerk geweest,
Een jaar of 2 misschien 3 is er iets fout met dat tooiltje gegaan en niet meer gebruikt ik heb dat in die tijd aan je gevraagd en je gaf toen al aan dat je het nut er niet van inzag en dat dat tooiltje niet meer werkte.
De laatste die het Tooiltje heeft laten draaien is Ted geweest,

Quite early in the beginning of the record CD section we tried to keep Germany, West Germany and East Germany apart, if we could see that. (You often need the label for that).
As you know, there was a tool that split Germany into Germany and West Germany by year. East Germany has always been manual work,
About 2 or 3 years, something went wrong with that tool and it was not used anymore. I asked you that at that time and you already indicated that you usefulness didn't see it and that that tool no longer worked.

Het is echt niet moeilijk. 1989 moet je gewoon vergeten, want dat jaar is niet belangrijk voor ons. Duitsland werd toen alleen wat groter, that's all. Alles wat BRD is heet overal in Catawiki Duitsland. Alleen de periodes voorafgaand aan de BRD kunnen eventueel apart benoemd worden, zoals bijvoorbeeld bij Postzegels noodzakelijk is.
It's really not difficult. You just have to forget about 1989, because that year is not important to us. Germany only got a bit bigger then, that's all. Everything that is BRD is called all over Catawiki Germany. Only the periods prior to the Federal Republic of Germany can possibly be named separately, as is necessary for Stamps, for example.

(Ik ben overigens wel van mening dat het mogelijk moet zijn om in specifieke rubrieken af te wijken van de algemene regels, als daar overtuigende argumenten voor zijn.)

En uit mijn geheugen ik denk dat we al vanaf 2008 binnen deze rubriek West en Oost en Duitsland hanteren.
En dat er een aantal doorheen geslopen zijn kan gebeuren, is denk ik mede veroorzaakt omdat we dat tooiltje konden gebruiken en ineens was dat weg.

Perhaps in the same place/city, but the country from 1949 - 1990 is politically a different country

Arco , had to laugh, but nowadays you see that almost all CDs and LPs are made in the EU / EEC and we do not say that everything from before this mention is also set to EU / EEC while the factories that make it are still present are in the individual countries,
And from memory I think we have been using West and East and Germany in this section since 2008.
And the fact that a number of people have crept through can happen, I think it was partly caused because we could use that tool and suddenly it was gone.
