Details

After the harsh criticism of Creepy's 50th issue, Warren stepped up to the plate and delivered a much better 50th anniversary issue for Cousin Eerie. Both the Mummy and Werewolf series received their official series titles in this issue. The new performer on 'Curse Of The Werewolf', Martin Salvador, was a skilled performer, but his style was so completely different from Rich Buckler's that he distracted someone from the storyline. Months before Marvel unveiled their Satana, Daughter Of Satan series in their black and white magazines, Warren released this one-shot that could almost be considered a prologue to the Marvel character, so similar were the origins. The same short story also provided an origin for Warren's version of Dracula. Bill DuBay started a series of horror games {later turned into board games for the Captain Company advertising pages}, which appeared in place of the frontis series. This game also appeared in Creepy #55.
