This is a beautiful green white earthenware egg cup with a special colored crest bird. Pottery "San Rocco" by Efrem Berretta and his wife Catherine, in Ascona TI. The brothers Plinius and Louis Luconi from Italy worked in the pottery "San Rocco" in the 50's and 60's. Efrem Berretta (born 1934 in Moralto, died 2012 in Ascona), was a lawyer and judge at the "Tribunale d'Appello". He started painting at a young age. He and his wife Catherine ran the "San Rocco" pottery workshop.
