Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the man who defined Paris style and worldwide fashion. Dior began his career in Paris during the 1930s. In 1946 he opened his own boutique there and became a leading design sensation. In 1947 his line debuted and was launched at The New Look magazine by an American journalist. The New Look featured narrow shoulders and calf-length, full skirts and replace the broad shouldered, slim long line skirt silhouette of the war years.
