Details
Obverse: Long-bearded bust of king facing left, wearing tiara decorated with pellet in crescent, diadem and earring; pellet in crescent and anchor behind bust. Dotted border. Reverse: Parallel dashes Elymais, Elamais, or Elam was a semi-independent state from about 150 BCE to 230 CE, and frequently a vassal under Parthian control. It was located at the head of the Persian Gulf in the present-day region of Khuzestan, Iran (Susiana).
