In Chinese literature the story (this is part of the whole) is known as 'Journey to the West'. In the Western world it is commonly known as 'Monkey'. The 16th century writer in this book has litterally been described as: 'Wu Cheng-en'. In the catalog his name is also written as: 'Woe Tsjeng-en'.
