Watercolour design 1 on card in art deco style, around 1929, possibly for a tablecloth, batik or damask. Framed and matted in a more recent gilt frame for an overall size of 71 x 71 cm (28 x 28 inch), image size 45.5 x 45.5 cm, signed ‘ontw.(‘design(er)’) followed by Lebeau’s designer mark or monogram, and ‘C. LEBEAU’ lower right in the pattern. In very good condition.
