Details
Obv.: bearded bust facing left, wearing diadem tiara with an anchor on it. Pellet and crescent above, and anchor to the right. Rev.: "U" shaped dashes Elymais, Elamais, or the more ancient name, Elam, was a semi-independent state from about 150 BCE to 230 CE, that was frequently a vassal under Parthian control. It was located at the head of the Persian Gulf in the present-day region of Khuzestan, Iran (Susiana).
