Original editorial cartoon on paper in pen, ink and blue wash, published in the London Evening News, 1951, shows two birds on the eve of the game bird hunting season (usually August to September in Britain) wondering ‘Do you think if we named them as aggressors, UNO might do something about it?’. Framed and matted for an overall size of 68 x 53 cm, paper size 49 x 34.5 cm (19 x 13.5 inch), image size 44.5 x 30 cm, signed lower left, caption in lower border and dated 11-8-51, stamped number (7688). On reverse in blue crayon: Saturday 11 August 1951; No 5,108; 4582. Some wrinkling of the paper, otherwise in good condition.
