Original drawing on paper in pen and ink, 1961, possibly published in the Saturday Evening Post or the New York Times, of President Nasser of Egypt. Drawing on white paper which has a newspaper stamp dated 9/1/61 and a stamped New York address on verso. Kroll, who left Germany in 1933 when the Nazis came to power, became a ‘celebrity caricaturist’ in the USA who drew caricatures of thousands of public figures in America and around the world. Paper size 13.5 x 11 cm (5.5 x 4.5 inch), image size 11 x 10 cm, signed lower left. In fair condition.
