Portrait bust to the left in oval of Goswinus Arnoldus, Count of Wynants (1661-1732). His coat of arms is on the pedestal. The Count de Wynants had been presiding council of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands in Vienna since 1717. For his services, Emperor Charles VI raised him to the peerage. Copper engraving by Frans Pilsen (1700-1784), after a painting by Jean Pierre Sauvage. Published by Frans Pilsen in Ghent in 1743. Signed and dated in print. Source: Rijksmuseum, 2015.
