Original editorial cartoon, ink and crayon on board, 1941, shows a wrecking ball and jaw chained together and on its way to take Moscow in the background. Refers to the advance of the German war machine on Moscow from late September 1941 onward. In the event the German advance failed and Moscow survived. Titled in top margin in blue crayon and signed bottom right. Someone has written $5.00 in red ink at bottom right. Paper size 57 x 48 cm (22.25 x 19 inch), image size 51 x 38.5 cm. Small tear top left corner, otherwise very good condition.
