Around the end of the 90s, the 1st counterfeit Tintin figurines were imported into the Netherlands, distributed through regular curio shops. The 1st series were still similar, presumably produced after the original Leblon images. Were not sold as original in the shops, also because there were no boxes or certificates. Meerder varianten bekend ook qua gewicht. Deze : Kuifje 544 gram; boomstam 1,3 kg.
Omstreeks eind jaren 90 werden de 1e namaak Kuifje beeldjes in Nederland geimporteerd, verspreid via reguliere curiosa winkels. De 1e reeksen waren nog gelijkend , vermoedelijk geproduceerd naar de originele Leblon beelden.
Werden niet als origineel in de winkels verkocht, ook omdat er geen doosjes of certificaten aanwezig waren.
Voor zover ik als 1e invoerder weet weigerden de meeste stripwinkels deze beeldjes vanwege het non copyright Leblon.
