The box, like the Smeets & Schippers edition from 1960, has the text "Dutch patent no. 180812 applied for". However, the patent was never formally granted to Ricon. The game is mentioned for the first time in 1956. De doos vermeldt, evenals de Smeets & Schippers uitgave uit 1960, de tekst "Ned. octrooi nr. 180812 aangevraagd". Het octrooi is echter nooit formeel aan Ricon verleend. Van het spel wordt al voor het eerst melding gemaakt in 1956. Het is niet geheel zeker of die melding inderdaad slaat op deze Ricon Uitgave (ik heb niet kunnen achterhalen in welke periode Ricon spellen heeft uitgegeven). Deze versie staat in ieder geval wel nog afgebeeld in een speelgoedfolder uit 1960, dus mogelijk werd dit spel in meerdere versies gelijktijdig verkocht (zie ook Smeets & Schippers).
