Size: 90 - 140mm (up to 160mm) Origin: Thailand to India and possibly Arabia A strain with a rich history. This used to be one of the shells most sought after. They were rarely found and offered on the market. Later it turned out that the inhabitants of Thailand were fishing for these shells by the thousands. Now you can buy a copy in good condition for a few euros. There are small differences between the typical Thai shells and the Indian shells. Een soort met een rijke geschiedenis. Vroeger was dit één van de mest gezochte schelpen. Ze werden zelden gevonden en aangeboden op de markt. Later bleek dat de inwoners van Thailand deze schelpen met duizenden opvisten. Nu kan je een exemplaar in goede staat al kopen voor enkele euro's.
