Size: 35 - 50 mm (seldom 60+ mm) Location: Philippines The Glycemerididae are closely related to the Arcidae. The genus of Glycemeris has a smooth shell, without structre, while the genus of Tucetona has ribbed shells. The shells of the auriflua are most of the time orange but their is a great variety in pattern.
