Wow! I was holding on to it for 20 + years just to get a vertical intact. Professional tasting notes almost universally panned, so, I never really thought about drinking. Like other "75misschien too much tannin for the meager fruit. an older wine, it was just perfect, not a perfect wine, but definitely in a beautiful form. The pinnacle of adult burgundy. Still dark, brilliant garnet color. Absolutely no primary fruit aromas left but silky cedar, tea, herbal flavors. Fantastic with roast pork. Just ****, but to hold. I can not imagine stricter with time, but who knows?
