Details
The vines of this 20 hectare vineyard produce excellent wines of this region Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion, on a rocky bottom with ideal exposure to the Sun. A part of the estate, about 6 hectares, is located on a slope with Southwest-oriented clay-lime soils and excellent natural drainage. The grape varieties are typical of Saint-Émilion, with almost 80% Merlot. The remaining 20% is divided equally between the Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines at Château Soleil are well adapted to the soil and are on average 30 years old.
