Window Code: W2 Box Code: D1 One of the UA fleet of B747-122 wearing the 'Four Star friend Ship' titles introduced in 1973 to promote the slogan 'fly the friendly skies'. Unique feature of UA livery in the 1970s is white fuselage with polished belly, this is well replicated in our model. The red/white/blue combination is very different from today's color schemes. The upper wing represents early type with bare metal wing box and gray surface, with silver edge. P&W engines are faithfully installed on the silver pylons. For those very few collectors that are still seriously interested, this model is licensed and approved. United will go after those that are unlicensed.
