Details
"The Hurricane was a very early concept car made by Holden in Australia in 1969, using it's new 253 V8 engine amidships, ahead of a Hewland tansaxle final drive unit incorporating gearbox and differential. This car was far ahead of it's time, resembling many of the Le Mans cars of the early '90s, with low cd and height. It had rear vision camera instead of mirrors and covered rear wheels and fully opening swing up cockpit canopy instead of doors, the dash and steering wheel would swing up with it to allow easy access. In it's glorious orange/gold paint with black accent stripes, when shown at the 1969 Melbourne Motor Show".
