The Bandai pippin is a game console marketed by Bandai which was base don Apple PowerPC technology using a Mac OS. The unit was sold in Japan as the pippin atmark (white) and in the USA as the pippin @world (black). By the time the unit was released (1995) the market was dominated by the Playstation 1. Because of the price tag and the limited amount of games available, sales were very bad and production was soon discontinued. A total of around 100,000 units were made.
