In 1954 the publisher published three stories simultaneously. Chronologically this is the first story (the figures are presented), but has been given number four because this story was pre-published in the newspaper at that time and therefore had to wait for the album to be published. There are 4 versions of the first edition of this album. This copy with the 5 titles on the back is probably the 'Flemish' version. No printer's imprint on the cover. This album also exists with a printer's imprint (4aa). The 'Dutch' version has only 4 titles on the back and exists with (4ba) and without printer's imprint (4bb).

In 1954 gaf de uitgever drie verhalen tegelijkertijd uit. Chronologisch is dit het eerste verhaal (de figuren worden voorgesteld), maar heeft nummer vier meegekregen omdat dit verhaal op dat moment voorgepubliceerd werd in de krant en dus nog moest wachten op albumpublicatie.
