Die kleine benzine tafelaansteker werd gemaakt in ca. 1959 in Birmingham, Engeland door Mosda. Mosda was een midden bedrijf (ca. 125 medewerkers) is opgericht door Moss Davis in 1948. Het ging in liquidatie in de 1969. Het bedrijf produceerde aanstekers, kantoorartikelen , zoals: hechtmachines, gat punchers, vulpotloden en puntenslijpers.
