Samuel Whitbread was born in Bedford in 1720 and in 1742 established his first brewhouse. In 1750 he purchased the small Kings Head brewery in Chiswell Street, Londen where the headquarters of Whitbread remain to this day. A major feature of this modern brewery has been its transport fleet which has covered an enormous variety of vehicles. These two models, the Bedford ‘S’ Dropside and the Karrier Dropside, are in the familiar Whitbread colours of chocolate brown and would have been a familiar sight on Britain’s roads during the 1950s and 1960s. Contains: VA 31000 (Karrier Dropside); VA 32000 (Bedford S-Type Dropside). Limited Edition 5.000 pcs. (with certificate)
