(=VA17003) Part of Mackeson 2-piece set MS1002 With more emphasis being placed on the expansion of Mackeson sales in off-license premises and other brewers’ houses, a number of Austin vans were put into service during the 1950s in order to dispense point-of-sale material. This Special Limited Edition Set features two of these Mackeson Display Service vehicles, the Austin A35 and Austin A40 van. These vehicles were well liked by drivers because of their comfort and brisk performance. Researched with the invaluable assistance of the Whitebread archive department these scale models both capture the 1950’s period feeling and are beautifully finished in the attractive black and silver livery adopted for the Mackeson brand stout.
