Clipper Blue Limited Edition 2.860 pcs. (with certificate) An open top version of the Morris Minor, called ‘Tourer’, was launched in October 1948, within a month of the saloon’s arrival. As the Minor was developed to use A series power and comply with legislation in world markets the Tourer followed suit, and became the Minor 1000 Convertible in 1956. The Convertible, always more expensive than other Minors, was withdrawn in 1969; at least a year earlier than the other vehicles in the range.
