Catalogue information
On March 16, 1983, Queen Fabiola of Belgium visited Willy Vandersteen. In commemoration of this visit, this album was presented to all employees of Studio Vandersteen. The album contains a separate accountability page, which contains all S&W figures. The page is also signed by Paul Geerts, in the name of Willy Vandersteen. Paul did this very often in the 80s and 90s to relieve Willy Vandersteen from the busy workload. The book described above, a special edition, was produced in an edition of 60 copies for this purpose. 1 ex. signed by Willy Vandersteen - Blue leather with gold print offered to Queen Fabiola. 1 ex. signed by Willy Vandersteen - Red leather with silver print for Willy Vandersteen. This book is in fact an ordinary reprint of the normal red series. To give the whole a more beautiful appearance, it is glued in a hard, linen cover and provided with an extra blank front page and back page. Finally, sometimes (see image 3) an appendix sheet, signed by Willy Vandersteen, has been inserted.
