Type I = The slantng line in the top left corner is attached to the scroll before the word “BELGIQUE”. There is a break in this scroll. Type II = the scroll in the top left corner is not attached. Type III = there is a break in the scroll which isn’t attached but breaks through the slanting line in the top left corner. Type IV = there is a break in the scroll and one prong of the foliage in the top left corner is longer touching almost the 14th pearl of the centre section, counted from the left figure “5”. Black overprint “Malmédy” (10 mm width) (Typo Stamp Works Malines).
