The Nintendo Virtual Boy was one of the most original and bizarre video game 'consoles' ever. It consisted of a pair of goggles with a built in 3D display screen. The screen was monochrome red. Production was discontinued one year after its introduction. Because of the limited number of units produced (less than 1 million), rather difficult to find. Only 22 games were developed for this system.
