Om uiteindelijk een, wat wij noemen, "een interessante verzameling", aan teleggen is echter meestal toch wel wat geld nodig en/of heel veel kennis.

Je zou kunnen besluiten elke week wat van je geld opzij te leggen.

Voor je gaat kopen blijft het zaak veel vragen te stellen en ook dat kan weer het beste op die speciale postzegel ruildagen.

Daar zijn ook vaak muntenverzamelaars, maar ik zou dat nog wat rustig houden, want munten krijg je zelden voor niets.
