In tegenstelling tot wat bij de boeken gebeurt, wordt bij de trading cards niet alles wat op Lord of the Rings is geïnspireerd onder deze thema naam weggeschreven. Wat nu bij de cards onder lotr is te vinden/wordt ondergebracht is het produkt van een enkele uitgever. Andere lotr-series van andere uitgevers zijn dus veel lastiger te vinden met het risico op dubbele invoeren. Bovendien lijkt het me niet echt handig om binnen catawiki twee verschillende systemen te hanteren. Zoek je nu bij boeken op lotr dan krijg je (bijna) alles wat daarmee gerelateerd is ongeacht de uitgever. Eenzelfde zoekactie bij de cards levert alleen maar het produkt van 1 uitgever op. LOTR is daarmee verworden tot een productnaam en is niet een thema zoals je zou verwachten.
Contrary to what happens with the books, not everything that is inspired by Lord of the Rings is written under this theme name with the trading cards. What can now be found / placed with the cards under lotr is the product of a single issuer. Other lotr series from other publishers are therefore much more difficult to find with the risk of double entries. Moreover, it does not seem very convenient to me to use two different systems within Catawiki. If you now search for books on lotr, you will get (almost) everything related to it, regardless of the publisher. The same search for the cards only yields the product of 1 publisher. LOTR has thus become a product name and is not a theme as you would expect.

Ik heb je serie naam vorige week aangepast, omdat het een ander spel is.
Het lijkt me niet dat Middle Earth CCG onder Lord of the Rings, TCG gezocht gaat worden.
Bovendien heeft Middle Earth CCG zijn eigen sets.
Als je het set veld gebruikt om te vermelden dat het om de Middle Earth CCG (of Lord of the Rings, TCG) gaat, kun je de set info nergens meer kwijt.
Met verzamelkaarten speelt dit niet, daarom verzamel ik ze daar wel zoveel mogelijk onder 1 noemer.
In de toekomst komen de ccg/tcg kaarten los van de verzamelkaarten te staan.
Dat zal de vindbaarheid vergroten.
Ook gaan we in de toekomst met kaart codes werken om verschillende versies (taal/herdrukken) van een kaart bij elkaar te kunnen bekijken.
Wanneer deze series bij elkaar staan, gaat dat niet goed werken.
Ze krijgen in de toekomst zeker dezelfde thema naam, maar daar wacht ik nog even mee totdat de thema rubrieken meer vorm krijgen.
Het staat op mijn todo lijst.
Een thema naam geven aan series kan heel simpel door middel van een Excel bestand.
Het zelfde geld voor meer series, zoals bijvoorbeeld de Star Wars verzamel kaarten, Star Wars CCG en Young Jedi CCG.
Het is op zich een simpele aanpassing, maar ik wacht er dus bewust nog even mee.

I changed your series name last week because it is a different game.
It doesn't seem to me that Middle Earth will be searched for CCG under Lord of the Rings, TCG .
In addition, Middle Earth CCG has its own sets.
If you use the set field to state that it is Middle Earth CCG (or Lord of the Rings, TCG), you won't be able to put the set info anywhere.
This is not an issue with collection cards, so I do collect them there as much as possible under one denominator.
In the future the ccg / tcg cards will be separated from the collector cards.
That will increase findability.
In the future we will also be working with card codes to be able to view different versions (language / reprints) of a card together.
When these series are together, it will not work properly.
They will certainly have the same theme name in the future, but I will wait a while until the theme sections take more shape.
It's on my to-do list.
Giving a theme name to series can be done very easily by means of an Excel file.
