Hello all,

I found a 2nd edition of ''The Crusades of Dries Betonne - Supplemented & Expanded'', and was trying to figure out if it is of value. The amount of stamps from Libraries will bring the value down considerably, apart from the fact that the comic and cover are very good. What I did wonder is why I can't find the Hardcover version of this comic anywhere, and whether it even exists. I'm starting to suspect that this was done by someone personally. How could I recognize that in the future?

Can anyone give me more information? Eg.

You have a copy of it #2709029 , which has been provided with a hard cover, plastic coating and stickers by the library's bookbindery (or centrally at NBD Biblion).
For collectors this is equivalent to a badly damaged copy and for a book that is not sought after and not rare this means: completely worthless.

This applies to 99.99% of all library books written off. Even as reading copies they are usually not wanted.
