In recent days, some brass pins with different colorings have been added to the Pins section . The importer had apparently also offered them for sale, because there is a mention of "Proceeds from LastDodo shops".

The strange thing, however, is that everything lists a sale date of December 17, 2023, while the items were entered into the catalog on December 20 and 21, 2023. That is a technical impossibility for which I cannot think of a logical explanation.

Anyone have an idea what's going on here?

PS I do not want to start a discussion about whether these items may be "fake", i.e. provided with other colors afterwards, because the production was largely manual and even at that time (the 1960s) "irregular" colorings were produced by home workers. Perhaps only a few, but that cannot be found out afterwards. It's also a relatively small number of items, so I won't disapprove of them.

I'm going to try to answer my own question.

Similar pins were also added on the 16th and 17th, I now see, and they also have a sale date of December 17th. I now suspect that the buyer placed an order on that date, and placed a second order today for the newly added items.
If the seller subsequently merged the two orders, the "sale date" of the entire order may have been set to the first date (December 17).

That would explain the "impossible" dating, but it still seems like a detail that could be better resolved.

I think it will be stripspeldjes
To be honest, no issue has ever been reported about this, so it is not immediately urgent to delve into this by a programmer, right?

stripspeldjes Rene Correct - Combined orders receive the date of the first placed order - Stamps in your shopping cart are not a certainty - I have a customer who therefore does this little by little (Sometimes over a period of 2 months) and let her know when she wants to pay.

Rene Of course it's not urgent. But it is one of those details that I think makes a programmer think: I have to fix that again.
