Just entered. For the time being it is a mystery to me that 2 Haarlem publishers have published the same edition. With a strange copyright..

Perhaps a book expert knows

That copyright is undoubtedly a mistake, the printer's mention may also be because the NRM itself was also a printing company.
A book that appears with different imprints, on the other hand, is less unusual.
Bee #1948307 should also include photos of the title and copyright page.

PS NRM was only located in Haarlem from 1972, before that in Leiden.

Thanks, I've learned a bit more now. I have edited the comment on the item slightly.
I will ask the original importer whether his copy indeed mentions Spaarnestad as the publisher and whether it also contains that strange copyright.

Nb is there a reason that you often don't use @? I often check the forum so I almost never miss responses.

When I reply to someone's last message, I never actually use @, because it is clear to whom it is addressed.
I don't receive any notifications about this myself.

As far as I can tell, your version is rarer than the Spaaarnstad edition.

I've been searching too.
First of all, I don't think these books were published in 1971 but in 1970.
And if you search on Google for The Little Truth Hanna Barbera, you will come across 1970 Hanna Barbera Productions.

Lyonesse: Nice that you are also participating in unraveling the riddle..
I had also seen a site with a list of books, including this TV edition of De Kleine Waarheid, where Hanna Barbara is named as publisher. But I suspect that the "creator" unthinkingly regarded the copyright of the incorrect page in question as the "publisher". I don't read anywhere that Hanna B was involved in the TV series and/or the book. But who knows ...

Boekenmagazijn, I get it from the @... Nice to know that my edition is a bit scarcer.

First a question, were these books published in 1970, because it is everywhere on the internet.
I think the mention of Hanna Barbera has to do with the Dutch television producer Joop Visch.
He was also the producer of The Little Truth.
And he finally worked with Hanna Barbera for the American network NBC

The first episode of the TV series aired on December 25, 1970.
It seems to me that they anticipated the great success of the series earlier.
(De Brinkman does not mention this edition.)

PS For those who don't know: Hanna-Barbera is not a madam, but the American cartoon studio (including The Flintstones) of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.

That about Joop Visch is interesting, ergo that copyright for the film edition and certainly >> the 16 pages of color photos in the book may be correct.

It's my age, lame excuse but we are in the middle of a renovation...

Overlooked, stupid stupid stupid... on the inside of the front cover, next to the small original bookstore sticker C van den Bos Hoefkade The Hague (which has nothing to do with the book itself), there is a small handwritten text "for mother of Saint Nicholas 5 12 1970". I had assumed the KB date of 1971. Ergo, it is 1970 after all.... and the catalog already said 1970 for the Spaarnestad copy, so I incorrectly changed that. Then apparently they released that book before the series aired. Then the question is when the series was recorded, given the photos in the book, which was published at the end of 1970, and the 26 TV episodes, this must have been done at least from the beginning of 1970 or possibly earlier. Perhaps Willeke can give the answer himself...

Remarkable.

IMDb does not mention Joop Visch or Hanna-Barbera as involved in this TV series.
