Hallo,

Ben momenteel bezig met Duits Notgeld. Heb inmiddels een aardig lijstje van 'landen' die nog niet op LD staan ingevoerd.

Is het makkelijker als ik je het lijstje doorgeef of invoeren met land onbekend?

Breng deze maar in met land "Onbekend".  Voordat we deze munten gaan reviewen maken we die Plaatsen aan en corrigeren we de munten.

Goed voorstel om overal de Engelse benaming van Turkey aan te passen naar  Türkiye. Ook de UN heeft dit al gedaan.

En moeten dan ook alle 1231 engelstalige titels aangepast worden?

o.a. munten al veranderd. Maar waarom zouden de Engelstalige titels moeten 
worden aangepast?   Er komt nu alleen Türkiye te staan i.p.v. Turkey.  Aan de
titel zelf wijzigt niets. 
Ik snap het van Turkije wel. Het is best apart dat wanneer je de landsnaam Turkey
intypt er allerhande artikelen over kalkoenen verschijnen.

Turkey en  Türkiye lijken erg op elkaar en het lijkt me stug dat iemand in de Engelstalige landenlijst dan niet het land Turkije kan vinden.
Maar voor de zekerheid zal ik een Engelstalige alias (Turkey) voor Türkiye erbij zetten.

NdV Dat lijkt me een duidelijk en verdedigbaar standpunt.

Alleen... zou dat dan niet – om het consequent te houden – bij alle landen moeten gelden?

Bij Duitsland staat inderdaad bij munten vóór 1948 "Duitse Rijk".
Maar zo uit mijn hoofd weet ik dat Thailand tot 1939 Siam heette, dan zouden de titels van die munten ook met die naam moeten beginnen.
En Taiwan werd tot en met WO2 Formosa genoemd (en die naam is zelfs met een zoekopdracht niet te vinden).

Germany does indeed say "German Reich" on coins before 1948.
But I know from memory that Thailand was called Siam until 1939, then the titles of those coins should also start with that name.

Vandaag wat muntjes toegevoegd bij Turkije. 
De nieuwe vertaling in het Engels naar Türkiye i.p.v. Turkey werkt niet automatisch.
Handmatig ingeven gaat wel goed.
Kunnen jullie hier naar kijken?
