Hello, I have now placed several orders with someone about 2-2.5 weeks ago. However, so far no response. Now it was previously suggested to contact the seller to see if he also responds. I just sent them an email, but I received an (automatic) email back 'Address not found'. I have also ordered a lot lately, including, I think, coins that I would have ordered from him.

Wouldn't it be an idea to also give sellers the option to cancel orders? Now it seems to me that it remains in the air and I have no idea what will happen or what the consequences will be if the person suddenly sends me an invoice in a year's time, and then of course I will (most likely) no longer be interested in the relevant orders. For example, there may be an obligation to pay, I don't know, or there may be other (possible) negative consequences.

Sincerely,

Dominique

I'm also just a user, so LD must have the complete correct answer.
a) there is no obligation, the seller is in default;
b) the email address doesn't seem to work, so I would cancel the orders through the messaging system in LastDodo. That is preserved so that is for the seller (if he still comes to the surface) and LD clear and ready to read if necessary (also for you);
c) Regarding cancellation by the buyer in the system, I don't think it's a bad idea, especially if the seller does not cancel at the request of a buyer. Because floating doesn't really give a pleasant feeling.

Question : As far as the seller is concerned, can you not see whether feedbacks have been given to him/her recently or whether he/she is providing feedback or is adding items to the shop. Who knows, it's been down for months?

FrieseMunter , If there is a problem with emailing a seller, it is most convenient to report the seller in question via the contact form (at the bottom of every page) so that we can see what is going on .

Hello, thank you very much for your comments! Harry56 Rene

Furthermore, I could indeed send a message via LastDodo to the seller to cancel the orders. Only yes, the fact remains of course that this is via the message system, and I cannot really remove the order from the process myself. That would of course be the most pleasant, or that this option would be activated, for example, after a period of 7 days or something like that from which nothing has been done with the order. Because apart from this, the seller can of course be in default, but that 'floating' of an order can not be very pleasant indeed.

As for reporting the seller to you, also a good idea! Although I do not have to breed any adverse consequences for him, I have not ordered anything from that person before and am therefore not familiar with that person. So nothing has happened yet with my orders and the person was not available via email either. Please take that into consideration!

Rene Rene, I have a question, when a buyer has not paid for his order after a few weeks, after sending several emails to this buyer, each time with the promise of payment. If I then cancel the order and block the buyer.... can he still give a negative review for his order AFTER I have blocked him!

stripverzamelaar-be , If someone still does not pay after a reasonable period of time (several weeks seems ok to me) and after reminders, you can cancel the order. In such a case, the buyer is not allowed to leave negative feedback if the contact was otherwise normal. If this does happen, you can inform us about this via the contact form or by sending an e-mail to our info address.

stripverzamelaar-be , Yes, you can, otherwise a seller who has been very unreasonable could avoid negative feedback simply by blocking the buyer.

Here also 4 orders from over a year ago, has never been responded to. How do I get rid of that, apparently you can't cancel yourself (yet) in LastDodo.
