At the country Portugal I see under LDnr. 6774737 and LD no. 364843 knight Denis I de Portugal.
I think these are the same images. Needs LD no. 6774737 then not to be removed?

mapet
Then you mark the duplication(= #6774737 ) with the text DOUBLURE of 364843 according to the established procedure (see Frequently Asked Questions and Stamp Handbook), The database is regularly searched for the word DOUBLURE and appropriate action is taken. The basic rule is that the oldest stays.

mapet Frageria And if you have a "brown" stamp with everything nicely filled in on the one hand and a "red" stamp with absolutely nothing filled in on the other, it becomes super clear whether it is a duplication or not. :-(

Must be a variety or misprint again. That usually fixes everything :)

Normally you would expect that if someone claims it is an 'Error Print' or 'Color Variety', that collector has some degree of knowledge. and is willing to share this via the details field.

However, if you, as a seller, put a black dot on a stamp, and then register it as an 'error print'. For what reason can you refuse that item? Everyone is allowed to put their comfort in the catalog, right? Even if you are totally ignorant.

As far as I'm concerned there should be a strict rule:

If 'variety', 'variant' and 'error' (or whatever the exception may be called) is indicated, without explanation nor mention of sources (the Mast catalog, for example): rejected. As a home, garden and kitchen industry. After all, no proof that the item exists 'in circulation'. It may be an exceptional coincidence that makes the item 'unique'. And 'unique' items are not allowed.

Now such freak show is used as a loophole. To get (and keep) items in the catalog that can be placed in the shop. Without being bothered by oversupply and low prices, because the 'unique' item ... you are the exclusive supplier of that 'coincidentally'.
Let's catch you again :)
