Hello,
I am new here, came by coincidence because I am busy thinning my book collection (not really possible, by the way). I have a series of Sesame World History, where I have the first part twice: a normal and a misprint. Only the first twenty pages are printed and the rest of the book is blank. Is this still worth anything or can I make someone happy with it?
Great site by the way!

I'd say it's worth nothing.
And thanks for the compliment.

As described, it does not seem like a misprint to me, but a “dummy”, a “largely unprinted book, as a demonstration model” (Van Dale). With this kind of sample copies (used for subscription and promotion before the entire print run is printed) sometimes the entire interior is blank and sometimes (as here) a small part of the content is included.

There are collectors of dummies, but I think you can count them on one hand and there are no large amounts involved.
