Hi!

After an attic clean-up I came across 2 LPs from Fleetwood mac - Rumors. But now there is a very strange version. I've been Googling for hours now, but I really can't figure out which edition I have in my hands. Just haven't come across it yet. So maybe someone here knows?

On the back it says: "Manufactured and distributed by WEA Records BV - Hilversum / Holland * Licensee of WEA International Inc. * A Warner Communications Company - Made In The Netherlands"

On the inner sleeve: WB 56344

And now the lp itself:
It's black vinyl, but with a white sticker.
The same sticker I saw on some white vinyl releases: Colored WB logo on top, Name and title below, and numbers on the bottom half.
It does say "made in Holland". And also: "Recording marketed and distributed by WEA Records BV-Holland"

Furthermore, everything is written in the dead wax, also handwritten
-B side: 4P / Mastered by capitol / WB-56344 B / BSK-2-3010 F20 / INT'L / KP () VI
-A side: 56344-A '' HL 31769-2- 7 (I think an H and the last one a 7: illegible)

Who oh who?

Does the label have very thin lines? If so, it is a Dutch reprint from the period 1979 - 1983. See Discogs.

Incidentally, the label is Warner Bros. (Records), not WEA.

I don't understand that you are googling for hours, if you type wb 56344, then you have it right away ...

I found it too.

It is a re-press, if you use Discogs Rumors with Nr. 56344, 530 pieces will appear, see number 11 in the list in the Netherlands, then you have it.

Can someone give me a link? I really can't find it. I only see the white vinyl or the German version. And neither of these is.

Oh yes @Morits: It is the 1st day of my life that I am busy with LPs and then I do not immediately know how to recognize LPs or look them up efficiently. So stupid of me wow. (subtitles: Help me or don't help me. And if you are a master in this, teach me instead of sprinkling with silly comments please)

Yes, I can ;-)

https://www.discogs.com/Fleetwood-Mac-Rumours/release/6006207

Discogs is a large music database. Not only vinyl, but also CDs.

If you scroll down you will see: Other Versions (5 of 529) View All

Click on View all and you get a huge row that you can sort by country, for example.

But our LastDodo also has a number of them:

very strange, if I click on your link I get to the item, but I would have to log in again (avatar not visible) and then I end up with an English version ...

@ Hendrixen

Still it's not that difficult you added the item

Let's start with some game rules

scan 1 front cover

scan 2 the track overview (often back cover)

scan the label (usually A side)

there it is already going wrong you see input

Morits indicate type in release number (WB 56344) and search

12 copies now (including your item)

If you had searched for the Netherlands (not Holland) there will be 6 copies

yes then just view

1 falls off: you don't have white vinyl.

2 really different label

3 really different label

4 that really looks like it (and now it gets difficult you have scan from the B side)

5 your input

6 different label with dashes and LC 0392

Conclusion look at item 6651753 and check your copy side A if it is the same (I expect it)

then the item is already in catalog

(only thing you could do, replace the scan with this item full screen and without the shadows of the curtains)

And if anything is unclear, there are a number of people ready to help you

Tribute to all my heroes of the day here! :-D Wow thanks everyone for the help!

And now I come to the embarrassing conclusion that I am a loser, because apparently I missed this one from the entire LastDodo list.

I think it is the one mentioned after all.

Maybe I'd be better off sticking to comic books hahaha And selling / auctioning all those 100+ LPs on the gamble as bulk.

I will delete my entry in the catalog.

Again, thanks for any help!

Yes, that stuff with an English version has been happening all day, on and off. And no, that is not the same as the Dutch version.

That's right. Normally Arco picks up these kinds of technical problems and passes them on to the technicians. Now I hope they also read the forum.

I already passed this one but it is clear we need a "new Arco". Even if it was unique and irreplaceable, getting the same high level back will be practically impossible.

Yes, that hassle with an English version has been happening all day, on and off.

We probably found it. Sometimes there was a wrong link to a section in the menu bar. That has been adjusted and now seems to be working fine. Please let us know here if you still encounter this problem.

Bought 130 singles from Elvis to Mario lANZA.
Only several singles have no cover.
My question: Can the singles that have no cover be placed.
Have them scanned already.

Mvg: Henk Frings
PS: Maybe a section of "Singles without cover"

If you want a girth without a cover, which is not in the catalog.

If you can just add it, make sure you place the A side as scan 1 and scan 3

If someone does have an item with a sleeve, replacing scan 1 and 2 is sufficient for him / her

Existing items can be placed in your own collection without a cover
