The direct link there.

Incidentally, the example about the spelling of Chinese names would be
( 15.4.1 on page 31 & amp; 15.5.1 on page 32)
the King's name should be written as Khing.

A new version of the Handbook Comics is online, thanks to pegag
Article 2.3 (How to deal with short search terms of one or two characters) is especially important, also possibly for other sections.
This is the link to the Handbook Comics .

Nice work
@pegag @ Collecteur
Only a few things can be adjusted.
15.4.3 INKERS, COLORS AND LETTERS
and
15.5.5 TRANSLATORS
There are now separate fields for Inker, Colorist and Translator.

There is now also a separate field for filling in Barcode / EAN / UPC.
And what has also changed is that if there is no ISBN and/or Barcode / EAN / UPC, you enter a "-" instead of none.

And in addition to filling in comics
1. The titles are entered at Comics in the same way as it applies to Magazines. So the Series name + the serial number. A few examples: Spider-Man 12, The Flash 21, Batman Incorporated 7, Batman and Robin 15. For sub-series we use the Sub-Series name + serial number. Examples: Dark Victory 6 (From the series Batman: Dark Victory [1999-2000] [USA]), The Early Years 12 (From the series X-Men: The Early Years [1994-1995] [USA]).

2. The Series names are written normally, so if the Hero starts with an article, the series name also starts with that article. Examples: The Flash: Rebirth [2016] [USA], The Lone Ranger & Tonto [2008-2010] [USA]. To be clear: Do not use a comma + article or omit the article. So NOT: Flash, The: Rebirth [2016] [USA].

3. In order to keep the series somewhat manageable, the year of issue is indicated in brackets at the back. The format is [xxxx-xxxx], so without spaces. A number of examples have already been given above.

4. The series name ends with the country of origin, in brackets. Examples: [USA] – [GBR] – [DEU]. Use 1 space between the years and the country.

5. Popular comics are sometimes published with several covers at the same time. In such a case, indicate the original cover in the Number suffix field with an a (no capital letter). The variant covers then get a b, c, etc.

6. The variant covers are also First Printing, unless it is actually a Reprint.

7. Comics usually don't have an ISBN, so fill in: ”-”

8. As with Magazines, the pages of the cover are also included in the Number of pages. For example, if the inner part consists of 28 pages, then the 4 pages of the cover will be added, so a total of 32 pages.

9. At Type only Comics / Classic is entered. So not also Album or TPB. If it concerns a TPB, then only use TPB. Under Details, state which numbers of a certain series contain this TPB.

10. Use only homemade images. Preferably scanned and nicely cropped. A third image is not mandatory, but it is good if a photo/scan is made of the colophon or something else that contains additional information about this item.

We will definitely take a look at the comments and possibly include them in the next update.

Certainly not immediately. I had posted it here to bring attention to indeed a new update.

Looks neat. That should be understandable for new and existing LD members.

Hello all,
Thanks for the new manual
I read point 2. of MandersH's proposal.

I find this a tricky one. If the Van Dale is filled with everything that starts with "de", "van" and "het" under the D, V and H, respectively, it will not be clear in my opinion. Can we have a wider discussion on this?
Sincerely, Han

Forgot spell checker

No. "States" is a correct word in itself, just not in this context. Edited, thanks for the tip.
