ik ben het na het proberen op te voeren van een box van John Wayne al zat. Ik raak het spoor volkomen bijster. Je moet veel te veel gegevens invoeren. Waarom niet alles heel simpel houden en voor alle freakinformatie naar IMDb verwijzen. Daar kun je toch niet tegenop en is al nagenoeg kompleet. Zeker wat de inhoud van de film zelf betreft. Je zou alleen nog de verschillen in de soorten uitvoeringen kunnen opnemen.
I'm fed up after trying to perform a John Wayne box. I lose track completely. You have to enter way too much data. Why not keep everything very simple and refer to IMDb for all the freak information. You cannot compete with that and it is almost complete. Especially when it comes to the content of the film itself. You could only include the differences in the types of performances.

Ik voerde ook niet alles in wat dat betreft. Maar ach, het is wel grappig om zo nu en dan 15 ondertitels in te voeren en ongeveer 15 acteurs.

Je moet helemaal niets, Morits, want bijna geen enkel veld is verplicht. We vinden het wel heel fijn ter identificatie als de EAN en de taal/talen op de inlay zijn ingevuld, anders loop je het risico dat een andere gebruiker er een verkeerd item van gaat maken waardoor je verzameling niet meer klopt.
You don't have to do anything, Morits, because hardly any field is required. We think it is very nice for identification if the EAN and the language (s) are entered on the inlay, otherwise you run the risk that another user will make a wrong item. so your collection is no longer correct.
Ik zie meer in de “Freak-info” dan in het technisch gezever. Het moet straks mooi zijn als ik alles van een bepaalde Franse actrice via Catawiki kan vinden.
En zo zijn alle invullers verschillend. Ik heb er geen probleem mee om Freak-info toe te voegen, als jij de Technische info wegzet.
I see more in the “Freak info” than in the technical nonsense. It should be nice when I can find everything about a certain French actress through Catawiki.
And so all fillers are different. I have no problem adding Freak info if you put the Tech info away.
Dat dan weer wel, Jilles, alles kunnen vinden van een actrice of acteur (kun je ook doen bij IMDb ;)).
Ik vindt het niet erg items toe te voegen, maar wel erg als een titel niet meer DE titel is. Schijnbaar is hierover een afspraak dat het nu eenmaal zo moet en leg ik me er maar bij neer.
Daarom onderhoud ik ook mijn collectie DVD’s niet meer hier op Disney na.
Het invullen van alle gegevens kan ook NA het toevoegen van de items, misschien dat er mensen BEREID zijn om daar aan mee te helpen.
Zie BTW nu veel items nog voor 3/4 leeg en wel verzamelaars van dat item. Ze vullen de ontbrekende info niet in of willen alleen maar die ene item in hun collectie en boeit hen de rest niet. (Zie dit in veel rubrieken)
Maar als er mensen zijn zoals Jilles, die WEL wil aanvullen, dan komt dat vast nog wel goed.
Waarom staat eigenlijk ‘Around the world in 80 days’ onder Serie/Held ‘Reis om de wereld in tachtig dagen’? Beetje vaag dit.
James Bond, kan ik me voorstellen, Danny Ocean op zich ook nog wel, Hannibal Lecter heb ik zelf zo gedaan.
Motirs, voeg gewoon toe en vul alleen het belangrijkste in, zoals talen (hoes, gesproken en ondertiteld), titel, jaren en uitgever en wat je nog meer kunt vinden op de hoes zelf.
De rest kan later nog of de ‘freaks’ vullen het hopelijk in voor jouw en de rest.

I don't mind adding items, but I do mind if a title is no longer THE title. Apparently there is an agreement on this that it should be this way and I just accept it.
That's why I no longer maintain my collection of DVD s here except for Disney.
You can also fill in all the details AFTER adding the items, maybe there are people WILLING to help with that.
See VAT now many items are 3/4 empty and collectors of that item. They don't fill in the missing info or just want that one item in their collection and they don't care about the rest. (See this in many sections)

This has now been solved, if you search for one of them you will see one of them as an alias. Not all at once, but over time everything with 2 known titles

Reageer een beetje laat maar ik zal ook eens wat film gegevens aanvullen, ben een filmfreak en vind wel belangrijk als ik bv op een bepaalde acteur of actrice zoek en alle films komen in een lijstje, zelfde als met een scenarist of tekenaar van een strip toch?

Enja AvdP ik ken ook alles zoeken op IMDB maar dat ken ik ook op een speciale munten site, postzegelsite, stripsite enz enz enz dus dan kunnen we allemaal wel stoppen met invoeren, onmdat van bijna alles wel een site bestaat. Catawiki moet juist de site worden waar alles van al die sites ineen komt, zodat je als verzamelaar op den duur maar 1 site nodig heb. Maar goed dat is mijn mening, ken niet naar anderen kijken. Ik ga gewoon door met zoveel mogelijk gegevens invoeren.
Enja AvdP I also know search everything on IMDB but I also know that on a special coin site, stamp site, comic site etc etc etc so we can all stop entering , because there is a site for almost everything. Catawiki should become the site where everything from all those sites comes together, so that as a collector you only need 1 site in the long run. Anyway that's my opinion, don't look at others. I will just continue to enter as much data as possible.
Helemaal met VISION eens. Je kan tegenwoordig alles wel opzoeken op internet of met een bepaald programma. Maar je hele collectie samengevoegd van verschillende verzamelgebieden is natuurlijk onverslaanbaar (of je moet een eigen DB aanmaken, maar dan moet je echt al je items zelf invoeren en dat is nu juist het mooie van CataWiki dat dat niet hoeft als het item er al in staat, mits volledig)
Totally agree with VISION. Nowadays you can look up everything on the internet or with a certain program. But your entire collection merged from different collection areas is of course unbeatable (or you have to create your own DB, but then you really have to enter all your items yourself and that is precisely the beauty of CataWiki that you do not have to , if complete)
