Ik vind dat we de EAN code verplicht moeten maken. Als er op oude videobanden of laserdiscs geen EAN code staat moet er gewoon “Geen” worden gekozen.
Daarnaast wordt de EAN zonder spaties ingevoerd, itt de helptekst. Dat maakt het terugvinden wel zo makkelijk. Ik wil daarom ook pleiten voor aanpassing van die voorbeeldtekst.

Ik zou er niet tegen zijn om ook dat veld verplicht te maken. Zoveel verplichte velden zijn er nog niet. En EAN is voor 99,9% een unieke identificatie van het item.

Mijn opmerking ging er om dat eigenlijk bij de alle rubrieken een EAN veld aanwezig, moet zijn: een standaard veld net als titel, land serienummer ect
en niet aanwezig gewoon geen.
En voor mijn leeftijdsgenoten we zullen wel een loep aan moeten schaffen.

My comment was about the fact that a EAN field must be present in all categories. are: a standard field just like title, country serial number ect

AvdP onderaan de barcode vindt je hem meestal, waar zoek je dan :-)

Verplicht maken vind ik wat riskant omdat niet iedereen begrijpt wat dit veld is en waar het te vinden is.

I think making it mandatory is a bit risky because not everyone understands what this field is and where it can be found.
Misschien moet je het dan gewoon Barcode noemen i.p.v. EAN?
