Soul en Jazz hebben inderdaad een zeer belangrijk aandeel in de Zwarte Lijst (en op radio 6), maar er staat toch ook Disco, Funk, Blues, Rhythm & Blues en R & B in.
Wat een beetje raar is, is dat wordt gesuggereerd dat het gaat om muziek uitsluitend door zwarte artiesten gemaakt, terwijl dat in werkelijkheid niet zo is. Ook o.a. Frank Sinatra, Jamie Cullum, Steely Dan, Van Morrison enz. zijn welkom.
Overigens is het de bedoeling dat Radio 6 per 1-1-2016 verdwijnt in verband met bezuinigingen. Als dat gebeurt, laat ik de radio maar uit, denk ik. Overige zenders zijn vaak meer van hetzelfde.

Ik ben al enige tijd geleden overgestapt op internet-radio via mijn Sonos-systeem. Alhoewel ik minder soul en jazz luister (voornamelijk The Blues alley en The World of Blues) zijn die zenders er wel. Als ik thuis ben zal ik eens zoeken.
I switched to Internet radio through my Sonos system some time ago. Although I listen less soul and jazz (mainly The Blues alley and The World of Blues) those stations are there. When I get home I will search.

Sonos is een firma die draadloze speakers bouwt. Die sluit je aan op je router en dan bouwt het een eigen draadloos netwerkje op tussen de Sonos-speakers die je hebt. Het systeem stuur je aan met een computer, laptop, tablet of telefoon (apps). In het systeem zitten dus ruim 100.000 radiostations verwerkt. Daarnaast kan je diensten als Spotify, Rdio, Deezer etc. gebruiken. Ook cd-spelers ed. kan je aansluiten. De mogelijkheden zijn legio. Ik heb nu ruim een jaar 4 speakers en ik zou niet anders meer willen :-) Ik heb mijn oude stereo-installatie op zolder gezet.

Radio 6 zou gaan stoppen, maar inmiddels is gebleken dat alleen de DJ's zijn weggehaald (alleen 's avonds niet, geloof ik).
Er worden nu "bandjes" gedraaid. Ik geloof dat ik dat doorgaans fijner vind dan dat gelul er tussendoor. Je moet wel Shazam paraat hebben.
Radio 6 was going to stop, but in the meantime it has turned out that only the DJs have been removed (only not in the evenings, I believe).
Now "bands" are being played. I think I usually like that better than that bullshit in between. You must have Shazam ready.
