Although the idea of The Black List (on Radio 6) may be a bit rattling, I can listen to it well. I can't do that at Top 2000. A must, the Black List.

What does that Black List entail?

Soul and Jazz indeed have a very important share in the Black List (and on radio 6), but there is also Disco, Funk, Blues, Rhythm & amp; Blues and R & amp; B in.

What is a bit strange is that it is suggested that this is music made exclusively by black artists, when in reality it is not. Frank Sinatra, Jamie Cullum, Steely Dan, Van Morrison etc. are also welcome.

By the way, it is the intention that Radio 6 will disappear from 1-1-2016 due to cutbacks. If that happens, I'll just leave the radio off, I guess. Other channels are often more of the same.

I switched to Internet radio through my Sonos system some time ago. Although I listen less soul and jazz (mainly The Blues alley and The World of Blues) those stations are there. When I get home I will search.

@franss:

Internet radio? I'm not that modern yet, I'm afraid. So I hope for the time being that Radio 6 stays.

Yes, I hope so too. As far as internet radio is concerned, these are stations that (also) send their music out into the world via the internet. Stations such as Radio 6 can also be found on the internet:

Sonos is a company that builds wireless speakers. You connect it to your router and then it builds its own wireless network between the Sonos speakers you have. You can control the system with a computer, laptop, tablet or telephone (apps). The system therefore contains more than 100,000 radio stations. You can also use services such as Spotify, Rdio, Deezer, etc. You can also connect CD players, etc. The possibilities are endless. I've had 4 speakers for over a year now and I wouldn't want anything else :-) I've put my old stereo system in the attic.

You're welcome. I am only afraid that The blacklist will also disappear from the internet. Anyway. There are plenty of alternatives :-)

Radio 6 was going to stop, but in the meantime it has turned out that only the DJs have been removed (only not in the evenings, I believe).

Now "bands" are being played. I think I usually like that better than that bullshit in between. You must have Shazam ready.
