I will soon be putting some sixty cards by, among others, photographer hans Hildenbrand in my Catawiki catalog. The cards have a number. Can be found somewhere because I don't know whether they are pre-war or post-war and what the approximate value is.

Is there such a thing as a book in which I can find market prices and an overview?

Ask someone from the NVDP, the Dutch Association for Documentation of Postcards (www.prentbriefkaarten.info (link button and other formatting tools still do not work on the iPad)). They are specialized in this and have a lot of documentation. I just don't know if there is already an overview and of course the market prices cannot be recorded in a catalog. It always remains "what the fool gives for it". Furthermore, Catawiki has a separate field for the number at Postcards. However, that number must be on the card and in any case be verifiable. Therefore, always make a scan of the back of the card and try to enter as much information as possible. Oh yes and it goes without saying that the cards should be clearly visible, so not too small. Entering sixty cards is a lot of work, so good luck! As an administrator and collector I am very curious, I hope you can read this post as it is written on an iPad and they don't like Enters or any formatting.

Thank you for your answer.

I have decided to make a complete list and to offer the entire collection at the curio auction. I will put the list in the auction and also send it to the NVDP. Most cards are unused and from the early 20th century, so made around 1900. Then an avid postcard collector can enter them on Catawiki.
