Ik ben geen groot fan van dit soort dingen, maar goed je moet ergens beginnen op een forum. ik houd het dan ook maar grotendeels op mijn alias.
Ik ben Rajamara, stripverzamelaar (27 jaar en in het dagelijkst leven assistent accountant) woonend in oost groningen.
Na op wat braderieën en rommelmarkten stripboeken te hebben gekocht voor mijn zoon (en deels omdat ik het zelf ook leuk vind), kwam ik op deze site uit voor de aanvulling.
Eigenlijk houd ik alles hier nog maar 2 weken op bij, en sloeg ik (om eerlijk te zijn) al een beetje door in het verzamelen de afgelopen weken.
Het moeilijkst op dit moment vind ik het in de juiste staat schatten van een stripboek. De uitleg van Catawiki vind ik persoonlijk te beknopt.
Misschien handelen we in de toekomst nog wel of hebben we een keer contact via het forum.

The hardest thing at the moment is estimating a comic book in the right condition. I personally find Catawiki's explanation too brief.

allereerst van harte welkom op deze geweldige site en ik hoop dat jij en je zoon er veel plezier van zullen hebben. CataWiki is een prachtige website waar je ook veel leuke strips tegen komt waarvan je niet wist dat ze bestonden! Ook kan je nu heel makkelijk zien welke strips je nog in je verzameling mist en dus op je zoeklijst moet zetten.
Heb je ook al eens gebruik gemaakt van CataWiki App voor mobiele apparaten? Daarme kan je bijvoorbeeld je verzameling op je mobiele apparaat zetten en als je dan op een braderie of rommelmarkt (heb je ook al eens een verzamelbeurs bezocht? In Eelde is heel vaak een leuke verzamelaarsbeurs) komt, dan kan je kijken welke albums je nog zoekt en welke je al hebt. Dat komt namelijk steeds vaker voor, hoe meer strips je krijgt. En heb je dan toch iets dubbel, dan kan je ze hier ook te koop aanbieden. Erg leuk allemaal.
Het bepalen van de staat van een strip is erg persoonlijk en de uitleg van CataWiki hierbij is om je hierbij een beetje te helpen. Er zijn namelijk diverse soorten kwalificeringen voor de staat van een strip, maar CataWiki heeft voor deze vorm gekozen.
Pas als je strips te koop gaat aanbieden op CataWiki moet je wel goed opletten op de staat. Een mogelijke koper moet er toch zeker van zijn dat hij krijgt wat hij verwacht zoals omschreven. Het gaat er dan ook om dat je goede fotos maakt van je strip als je hem te koop aanbied. Als daarbij zichtbare slijtage is, dan is het handig voor een koper om dat te kunnen zien. Dan kan hij zelf beslissen of hij hem wil kopen of niet en misschien is het voor jezelf ook wel handig (maar dat is persoonlijk).
