Hello,

I'm not a big fan of this stuff, but well you have to start somewhere on a forum. I therefore stick to my alias for the most part.

I am Rajamara, comic collector (27 years old and assistant accountant in daily life) living in east groningen.

After some fairs and flea markets buying comic books for my son (and partly because I like it myself), I came to this site for the addition.

Actually, I only keep everything on this for 2 weeks, and (to be honest) I was already a little bit in the collection over the past few weeks.

The hardest thing at the moment is estimating a comic book in the right condition. I personally find Catawiki's explanation too brief.

Maybe we will trade in the future or have contact via the forum.

Gr . Rajamara

Hi Rajamara,

First of all, welcome to this great site and I hope you and your son will enjoy it. CataWiki is a beautiful website where you will also find many nice comics that you never knew existed! You can now also easily see which comics you are still missing in your collection and should therefore put them on your wish list.

Have you ever used the CataWiki App for mobile devices? With this you can, for example, put your collection on your mobile device and if you come to a fair or flea market (have you ever visited a collection fair? Eelde often has a nice collector's fair), you can see which albums you are still looking for. and which one you already have. That is increasingly common, the more comics you get. And if you still have something double, you can also offer them for sale here. All very nice.

Determining the condition of a comic is very personal and the explanation of CataWiki is to help you a little with this. There are various types of qualifications for the condition of a comic, but CataWiki has chosen this form.

Only when you start offering comics for sale on CataWiki do you have to pay close attention to the condition. A potential buyer must be sure that he is getting what he expects as described. It is therefore about taking good photos of your comic when you put it up for sale. If there is visible wear, then it is useful for a buyer to be able to see it. Then he can decide for himself whether he wants to buy it or not and maybe it is useful for yourself (but that is personal).

In any case, have fun with your collection and we will probably meet again. come across on CataWiki.
