It has not been possible for a while to open new shops on Catawiki.

I try several ways to get some miniature on my store but they don't show up in my store in any way. Please advise

You could try to trade-sell your bottles at a perfume collector's fair in the Netherlands-Belgium or Germany. Guaranteed success.

My question to the auctioneers.

I have offered a number of perfume bottles for the curosia auction.

I had placed a reserve price. I was informed that the reserve price was too high and it was better to leave it out, I followed that advice and then offered it again.

My lot was approved, but to my surprise I see it as a concept again, because there are no perfume bottles more are offered for the curosia auction.

Can you tell me at which auction I can offer them, because they will also be included in your catalog and there are also special bottles in between.

Where can I find Catawiki's general agreements?

What we are currently missing is an overarching import manual with, among other things, agreements about brand names and natural names. Making this is one of the goals that is high on the list of priorities and that we will be working hard on.

Take it from me that Peter is right. Brands are included in Catawiki as you write them, so eg 'Hugo Boss'. If you mean the human Hugo Boss (e.g. in a field where the designer must be entered), then we will indeed write him in Catawiki as [Last Name, First Name].

But in this case it concerns the brands and they are now wrong. Fortunately, we can fix them 'in one fell swoop'.

How others do it is not (always) important. In Catawiki we have to take into account a consistent notation of these types of entries in the various sections. 'Perfume bottles' is not an island, but part of a larger whole, with which it also has common ground in various places. And that is exactly the difference with the specialized catalogs that you know. They don't have to take anything or anyone into account.

I would like to warn you that what you are doing is not in accordance with Catawiki's general agreements. Only personal names are split into "Last Name, First Name", not company names.

So the perfume house is called "Jean Paul Gaultier", not "Gaultier, Jean Paul"!

The following perfume names can be removed from the perfume bottles:

Hugo Boss - Issey Miyake - Christian Lacroix - Lolita Lempicka - Luciana Soprani - Lancone - Gaultier - Givency.

Is it possible to transfer all articles from Jean Paul Gaultier to Gaultier, Jean Paul? As long as 3 names for one and the same perfume house are present, it is never possible to get a good overview.

who manages the series with the perfume bottles? There are many series that can be deleted as they are empty.

You can specify a theme for each advert . There you fill in 'Perfume' during the input.
Furthermore, you can link each advertisement to the brand at Perfume bottles, so you can easily jump to it from that section.

You overlook the fact that Catawiki's categories are not classified by theme, but by object. We already have sections for advertisements, books, jewelry and miscellaneous items.

There are many collectors of perfume stuff. The following sections would make it much easier:

Create a main section OF PERFUME

and then sub-sections:

MINIATURES - BOTTLES - FACTICS (DUMMIES) - PERFUME TESTS - FRAGRANCE CARDS - LIQUATOUCH - ADVERTISEMENTS - BOOKS - JEWELRY - MISCELLANEOUS

This makes it easier for collectors to offer their collection or their shop on Catawiki.
